  17. I really really really liked Waite and Prata's "C Primer Plus", and
  18. Prata has since come out with a C++ edition, "C++ Primer Plus".  The
  19. book is outstanding because it covers the language in detail but quite
  20. readably, and there are boucoup coding examples, and programming
  21. excercises to work with.
